At the heart of our work is the belief that healing happens through connection. We offer
compassionate, relationship-focused psychological support for adults, children, families, and
professionals who have experienced trauma - or who care for and support those who have.
Whether you are navigating the impact of early experiences, seeking support for a loved one, or
working in a professional role that carries emotional weight, we are here to walk alongside you. Our
approach is nurturing, trauma-informed, and grounded in empathy. We understand that each story
is unique, and so are the pathways to healing.

Our Therapies:
Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) Informed Approaches: Integrates attachment theory and developmental trauma to strengthen child–parent relationships, helping families reconnect through empathy, safety, and connection.
Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy: Is a type of psychotherapy which works with the different “parts” within our systems or “inside world”. IFS helps people to understand, listen to and heal these parts especially those which carry burdens from trauma. IFS is a kind, compassionate and curious way so that the inner emotional world can be healed and feel more whole.
Therapeutic Life Story work (TLS) and More About Me (MAM): Helps children make sense of their histories by exploring and understanding past experiences, fostering resilience and a stronger sense of identity.
Theraplay supports the parent-child or carer-child relationship, focusing on structure, engagement, nurture and challenge to help tailor support that strengthen the relationship.
Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR): Uses bilateral stimulation (such as guided eye movements) to process and reduce the distress of traumatic memories, restoring emotional balance.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Offers practical tools to understand how thoughts, emotions, and behaviours connect — supporting people to managing anxiety, low mood and /or behavioural challenges.
CHILDREN & FAMILIES
We support children and their families with care, curiosity and compassion. Many of the children we work with have experienced early adversity or trauma, and we know that healing begins within safe, trusting relationships. Using creative, play- based and attachment-aware approaches, we help children feel seen and understood, and we support parents and caregivers to respond with empathy and connection. Our goal is always to strengthen relationships, restore a sense of safety, and nurture resilience in every child and family we meet. We support families by providing specialist assessments and therapies.
SPECIALIST ASSESSMENTS
We offer in-depth, face-to-face psychological assessments for children and young people who have experienced trauma, loss, or disrupted early relationships. These assessments are designed to be gentle, collaborative, and grounded in connection—never rushed.
Each assessment includes meaningful involvement from the child and their current family or carers. We take time to understand not just behaviours, but the context around them. Our process involves direct work with the child, conversations with those who care for them, and observations in settings like school, nursery or college, where we can see the child in their day-to-day world. We also liaise closely with teachers, social workers, carers and other professionals to build as full and rounded a picture as possible.
We also explore areas such as cognitive ability and executive functioning, helping to identify whether difficulties with attention, memory, processing or problem-solving are contributing to the child’s presentation.
The outcome of this work is a comprehensive psychological formulation— a trauma - informed understanding of the child’s inner world, experiences, and needs. This includes clear, compassionate recommendations that can help guide care, education and therapeutic support going forward. Our aim is always to provide a deeper understanding that brings clarity, promotes empathy, and leads to more connected and effective support for the child.
THERAPIES
At the heart of our therapy is relationship. We believe healing begins with feeling safe, seen and understood. Our approach is trauma-informed, attachment-aware and deeply compassionate.
We work gently and thoughtfully, always at the pace of the individual, whether child or adult. We are curious about behaviour rather than critical, and we listen beneath the surface to understand what might be driving distress.
We prioritise connection over correction and see the therapeutic relationship as a space where trust can grow, stories can be explored, and new ways of being can emerge.
Above all, we hold onto hope—and the belief that with support, people can heal, grow and thrive.
NURSERIES & SCHOOLS
We partner with nurseries, schools, and education settings to help them become more trauma-informed, relationship-led, and emotionally safe environments for both children and staff. We offer reflective consultations, assessments, staff training and therapeutic input for children who could benefit from therapeutic support. Our work is grounded in the belief that behaviour is communication, and we support educators to respond to children’s needs with empathy, structure, and emotional attunement.
ADULTS WORKING IN RESIDENTIAL CARE
Caring for children and young people in residential settings can be both rewarding and emotionally demanding. We provide reflective spaces, consultation and training for residential care teams, helping adults make sense of the emotional needs and behaviours of the young people they support. We prioritise the wellbeing of the adults too—because we know that when carers feel safe, supported and resourced, they are better able to offer the kind of consistent, connected care that transforms their children’s lives.
FOSTER CARER'S AND FOSTER CARE ORGANISATIONS
Foster carers hold an incredibly important role in the lives of children who have experienced trauma and loss. We provide tailored support for foster families and fostering agencies, including therapeutic support, consultation, and training. Our work helps carers understand the impact of trauma, build stronger connections with the children they look after, and feel more confident and supported in their role. We also collaborate with fostering organisations to strengthen their trauma-informed practice and ensure carers have what they need to be able to support their children in a relational and resilient way.
GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY (ADULTS)

These services may be if you are seeking therapy for yourself or if you are an employer looking to offer your employees access to psychology services as and when is needed. Our approach is focused on the individual, grounded in trust and emotional safety.
